- Click "Certification."
CSI certifications are valid for 3 years. CSI certifications expire on June 30 (Spring cycle) or January 15 (Fall cycle), depending on your initial testing cycle. CSI membership not required.
CSI sends recertification reminders starting 90 days before the deadline.
**If you have opted out of CSI emails, you are responsible for tracking your recertification date - mark your calendar!

How to Maintain Your CSI Certification:
- Earn 24 Learning Units (LUs) within 3 years before expiration.
- Log LUs in your CSI account:
- While logged in, click "Certification" on the left sidebar.
- Submit your application via "Recertify" (available 90 days before expiration; email reminders provided).
- While logged in, click "Certification" on the left sidebar.
- Allow 5-7 days for CSI review. Additional information may be requested.

Continuing Education Learning Units (LUs) Guidelines
- All LUs must relate to the AECO industry; at least 50% must align with your CSI credential. (View knowledge domains for CDT, CCCA, CCS, CCPR.)
- Minimum LU credit: 0.25
- Only LUs earned and submitted within the 3-year cycle are accepted.
- Multiple certifications? Each requires 24 LUs. Up to 12 LUs (50%) may overlap if relevant.
- Bulk LU submissions (AIA, Hanley Wood, RedVector) are accepted via transcript uploads.
- No duplicate credit for both live session and on-demand versions of the same session.
